ArbitraryDocumentationWainwright is a user interface designer. He is working with an analytical team to provide a ui specification to complement their functional specification. They are working together with users and developers in every other day working sessions. He is responsive to the developers needs and stays in very close contact with them to ensure that he is specifying some useful things in a useful way. Dewey, who is the deveopment manager, drops in on one of the informal sessions that Wainwright has with the developers. He asks if the very detailed ui spec that he is expecting will done soon. Wainwright is surprised by the question because he has been working with developers all along, and what he is providing to them is what they want - and not the detailed UI spec requested by Dewey. He looks to the developers for some understanding and help. None is offered. He is left to wonder how this disconnect came to be. Back to SoftwareArchitectureSessionFramework
