BernadetteLantzThis will be my first AYE conference. I have 22 years in the software industry and for the past 10 years have worked exclusively on software initiatives for government organizations at the state/city/county level. I spend most of my time as a project manager. I just sent in my application to take the PMI certification test and by the time I get to Phoenix, the test should be over. Im really looking forward to the conference and learning more about how to effectively lead, inspire and succeed with technology projects. When Im not working, I can usually be found with my 9 year-old daughter or in the kitchen. My family and friends have graciously allowed me to use them as my unofficial taste testers. Last year, I was in search of the perfect gingerbread recipe, this year its chicken with olives. Maybe we can find you a stove and you can practice on us! I won't be able to eat the chicken, but I could pick out the olives. You'll have a number of people with government work and experience presenting and participating, though not so many on the state/local level, so we'll be looking for special insights from you. I'm glad you're coming. - JerryWeinberg 2004.10.21 Bernadette, I'm also glad you're coming. I'm planning to pump you for information about your PMI certification. Specifically, what you learned and whether it was worth it :-) -- JohannaRothman 2004.10.22
