Hi, I've peeked into a few other pages to see how you introduced yourselves - and now I'm stumped!

I currently work in an internal consultting organization at National City Bank. However, I think that's just a matter of administrative convenience. I do internal consulting at the earliest blush of a project, write internal texts on business subjects and lately have been building an internal video department.

While working on the videos I have (very unscientifically) determined that about 60% of everyone in IT is a musician. I had volunteers coming out of the walls to do music videos!

I've done plenty of project management over the years - IT development, mergers and consolidations and non-tech. Currently I'm working on an article combining the "human change curve" with a generic IT project life cycle. I hope it will help in focused communications and rational risk assessment. I don't approach project management by the numbers - rather by the deliverables, risk and team morale. So far it's worked!

Some day I may even find out what a "WIKI" is....I have learned that it doesn't have spell check.

Oh, but it does, and I am it! And so is everybody here, if they wish. I just corrected one typo in your text (but you're free to change it back if you don't like it). We help each other out - that's one thing a wiki is, a community place for a caring community.

Last year, I tried to get some musicians interested in making some music at AYE, but it didn't work out. I'd still like to hear it happen, even if all I can contribute is a bit of kazoo. If we want to find out if others are interested, all we have to do is create a name, like WantToMakeMusic, and a wiki page will appear (click the question mark) for people to add their names and ideas.

Anyway, I'm excited to read you here, Carol. Your "deliverables, risk and team morale" sounds like just what BobKing and I are cooking up for our session on how to get your project started right. Welcome to the AYE wiki! - JerryWeinberg
