I am the Quality Assurance Manager at etalk Corporation in Irving, TX. I want to become a more effective thinker on my feet, and a more strategic thinker in general. It appears that participation in this conference will help and I am very much looking forward to being there and spending time with you all.

Hi David, I think it's bound to help, though often it helps in ways you might not have expected. For instance, instead of becoming a better thinker on your feet (which is quite likely to happen, though), it could very well just help you recognize when you're not thinking too well on your feet and ought to keep quiet until you can get in a better thinking environment--as well as providing you with tactics so you can get other people to let you do that. My "Saying No" session, for example, has helped lots of people do that.
