Easy Does It - Puzzle Solving
Prerequisites

  • All participants have skills/capabilities/tools to perform steps
  • All participants understand project objectives
  • Review process and refine to align with objectives

Pre-steps

  • Establish scale of project puzzle
  • Make adjustments for scale (see recommendations):
    • Add more participants for larger puzzles
    • Assign roles
    • Monitor anxiety level of participants - take breaks or re-assign resources
  • Perform usability testing on process and adjust after findings

Main Steps

  1. Spread pieces face up
  2. Sort pieces - edge and no edge
  3. Find corner pieces
  4. Put edge pieces together
  5. Find part of picture to start with
  6. Look for pieces that fit with common colors on edges
