NoraMcDonaldThis is my second AYE Conference and I have also attended the PSL Workshop. I was formerly known as Nora Bauer, but recently got remarried and added 3 more children to the family. Now, we have a total of 7 children, ranging in ages from 24 to 16. Once again it proves that Life is a Series of Plan Bs. (Which is the title of the book I am writing.) My current work is as the Program Manager of Process Improvement for Fisher Scientific, located here in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We are in the process of a merger, and I am also serving on the M&A team for the IT organization. My focus is on "best practices" as well as organizational change management. Life is very busy at work, but also quite exciting and rewarding. Outside of the work world, I volunteer at the Bethlehem Haven, which is a shelter for homeless and recovering woman. I serve on several committees at my church and recently had the privilege of delivering the sermon. I enjoy teaching and mentoring, but am always looking for new and better ways to bring in exercises and examples to help illustrate a new concept. Equally important, I love learning from others. Friends, family, cooking and wine tasting seems to take up the rest of the time. I am looking forward to the conference, touching base with old friends, and making new ones. nora.dot.mcdonald.at.fishersci.dot.com Nora, welome back! You may want to change the email address to words with dots and at's instead of a real email address in case a robot comes trolling for emails. -- JohannaRothman 2006.06.21 Nora, I don't remember meeting you -- but my memory isn't that good anymore. However, we both live in Pittsburgh and work in Process Improvement. I work the, dare I say it, SEI. And, I know lots of people have problems with what they understand and see about the recommendations made by folks here. <Sigh> If I don't have a chance to talk with you in PGH, please get in touch at AYE. I'd love to have a conversation! DianeGibson 7-18-2006 Nora, welcome back! (I've taken the liberty of sanitizing your email address from the trolls.) - JerryWeinberg 2006.07.23
