This period of quietness in the computer business is the ideal time to rethink who you are, what goods and services you offer, your business plan, and your basic place in the world. At least, that's what's happening to me. I know there are some things that I still like to do and want to do more of (create books, give interesting seminars, create exciting conferences, develop innovative products) and things that I'm tired of and want to do less of (struggle with difficult people over stupid issues that would never have come up if a lawyer had been involved early in the process).

I am in the process of reinventing my own business. I don't have any tools or techniques or magic maxims that facilitate this reinvention, but I thought that if you are a like-minded person we might at least share issues and ideas during this session.
