SessId022SETTING EXPECTATIONS: A MANAGER'S GUIDE An effective manager advises employees of what is expected of them, then follows up in various ways to ensure the employees have carried out the work appropriately. One way to look at this process, therefore, is that managers provide services to their employees. In fact, the relationship of managers to their employees is similar in many ways to other service relationships. In this session, Naomi and Johanna will address the issues of day-to-day management from the perspective of managing service expectations. They will help participants learn how to apply proven principles of expectations management to strengthen their management skills. Return to NewSessionDescriptions
