SessId030name: Information Accessiblity in Systems designers: Kevin, James max number of participants: no upper limit except room size min number of participants: 15 optimum number: to be decided duration of session: to be decided configuration of room: chairs only This session will explore the issues involved in creating accessible system designs with an emphasis on accessibility for the blind. The session will consist of two parts, both of which will be of interest to architects, designers, managers and programmers. Part 1 will provide experiences that help the participants understand the issues of accessibility. Part 2 will provide resources for creating accessible systems. The wiki is an example of a system that does not provide accessibility for blind people. Consequently, Kevin cannot readily participate in this wiki thread unless someone else posts for him and passes on what's been posted. Return to NewSessionDescriptions
