Exploring Shared Leadership and Self-organization

In self-organizing teams, members take on much of the responsiblity for leading and managing themselves. This doesn't mean that leaderless teams don't need leadership; it does change what leadership looks like. In this session, we'll look at how team members share leadership without the formal title of leader.

Learning objectives:
Learn that Leadership is a set of behaviors, not a role.
Recognize leadership behaviors.
Consciously choose an appropriate leadership behaviors based on the context of the team, e.g., when a team is floundering, when a new member is added, to keep the team healthy.

Constraints: Chairs we can move around and a table big enough for most of the group to work on an activity
