How Teams Form and Perform
Pat Medvick Becky Winant

Abe Lincoln had a favorite riddle: Q: "If you call a tail a leg, how many legs has a dog?" A: "Four. Calling it a leg doesn't make it a leg."

And calling a bunch of people a team doesn't make them a team. In this session, we're going improve your teaming skills by exploring what DOES make them a team. And what doesn't.

- What supports team formation and team work?
- What works against team formation and team work?
- Why do people act this way in teams?
- What can you do about it, as a team member, team leader, or manager?
