Managers, being human beings, may not always see how they contribute to their own organizational dynamics. For instance, a manager may start a new program without understanding how her own temperament will influence the results for good or ill. Or, a manager may hire consultants to help under-performing teams without understanding how his communications with that consultant can steer the consultation in almost any direction. This session highlights ways in which your management style influences the performance and attitude of the people around you. Learning Objectives. - Understand the shared dynamics between managers and subordinates. - Learn how to influence these shared dynamics for desired results. - Practice the types of communication required to address negative influences and reinforce positive ones.
