Feedback Lab
Johanna Rothman Esther Derby

Giving feedback is one of the most difficult and delicate tasks that managers face. And receiving feedback that is not framed congruently can leave a person bruised and reeling. How do you give feedback in a way that respects the individual and increases the chance that your message will be received in a constructive way? How do you hear feedback in a way that enables you to receive information about how someone else experiences you and leaves your self-esteem intact?

In this session, we will examine some fundamental models for human interaction and empathetic communication, and well practice giving and receiving feedback.
