Simple Living in a Complex World: Finding Balance in the Chaos
David Irvine

Under the demanding work of helping, as a change agent, your own "inner light" can be lost. You can become so committed and so busy putting out the fires around you, that you don't make time to re-kindle the fires of your inner life. All too often you find yourself reacting to the demands of daily life, rather than responding to your authentic desires. Life becomes a little too much like being on a boat where the oarsmen are all pulling in different directions. And, as a result, helping gets heavy because it comes from emptiness rather than overflow.

This session offers a shift in thinking and in changing beliefs about helping and self care as a change agent. It is designed for those who yearn for, and are committed to, a simpler, more balanced life.

In this session, you will learn keys to:
- Live more simply within our complex world.
- Rekindle the flame within you, and awaken your spirit, so that your helping can come from a renewed source of energy.
- Remind you of the value of recognizing and respecting your limits and needs finding a gentler, simpler way to amplifying your effectiveness.

In a down-to-earth, practical approach David will challenge you and give you tools to find more balance and meaning in your work and your life. Using story telling and through sharing his own journey, David will inspire you to uncover that place in your soul where hidden possibilities reside, a place of simple living.
