The Experience of Intimidation and the Processing of Feedback: Critical Areas for the Competent Change Agent
Charlie and Edie Seashore

The experience of intimidation is a natural partner with the exercise of power. We will be looking at some how intimidation can become a self-fulfilling system reality which is carried by both the "perpetrator" and the "victim". The role of feedback in the breaking of the triangle of perpetrator, victim and rescuer will be explored in day-to-day settings. Implications will be drawn for the organization change agent.
Learning Objectives
This session will provide a framework for understanding intimidation, feedback processes, and the role of the change agent in improving organization health. Presentation, discussion and experiential exercises will be integrated in the design for the 3 hours.
