SessionSignupGuide

The primary purpose of session signup is planning. We will use this information to help:

  • determine which session are in danger of not having the minimum number of people that they require
  • schedule additional sessions if there seems to be a need, so make sure you do add your name to the waiting list if you see the session is already full
  • figure out which sessions should be held in which rooms.

The signup is first-come-first-served, so sign up now for the sessions you want, if you're already registered. Or, if you're not, register as soon as you can, then sign up.

Please give it a try and give us your CommentsAboutSessionSignup, where we have had lively discussions about the merits or demerits of this. Our intention is not to turn the AYE Conference into a traditional conference. We do not want to limit your freedom regarding changing your mind at the conference.

Please do not sign up for more than one session per time slot.

When you sign up for a session, add 1 to the total signed up.

If the total signed up matches the maximum enrollment, add your name to the bottom of the waiting list.

Some sessions will not have an upper limit. Please sign up for these sessions as well to help us with room assignments.

You can change your mind. When you do, please take your name off sessions you no longer intend to take and, if there is a waiting list, move up the first waiting list person, or, if not, decrement the total signed up number.

This is the honor system. All you have to do is take care of where your own name appears and does not appear.

To sign up for sessions, go to TheCurrentSchedule, find the sessions you want and click on the related signup page.

Thank you. BobKing
