AmplifyingYourAcousticInstruments

I'll likely be bringing a mandolin; I've recently become a convert to the playing of Irish traditional music. I've been playing guitar for a good long time, and can accompany pretty well.

Anyone else attending AYE who is a musician? What do you play? Would you bring an instrument?

I'm not a musician. I play a kazoo and a jug. I plan to bring a kazoo, a Melodica, and a pair of aboriginal sticks. And I hope Esther brings her accordian. And I'm singing, not speaking. - JerryWeinberg 2002.10.15
I love to sing, and I think I'm mostly off-key. I'll bring my voice. JohannaRothman 2002.10.16
Johanna, we could include a practice off-key singalong in our Presentation Skills session :-). Off-key is the only key I know how to sing in, and I'm willing to do it if I have some off-key song-mates. If properly provoked, I suppose I could bring my flute, IF I could even find it (it's been a LONG time). I'm pretty sure I could still play it IF I had some sheet music (lotta IF's!). This begins to sound like key of Tequila Flats? -- I could get there too!

I will bring various percussion instruments... and my Bodhran, if it fits in the suitcase. I also love singing, and am not the least bit self conscious about making a fool of myself trying to sing!! DianeGibson 10-17-02
