CarolGrahamMy page, but nothing to say yet! But people will have things to say to you, like Welcome!. One thing everyone can do is start to say which sessions are tempting them most right now. That will help us anticipate which sessions will be most heavily attended, which will help our planning. - JerryWeinberg Yes, Welcome! What brought you to AYE this year? - BeckyWinant Hi! -NynkeFokma This is Carol. What brought me to the session this year ? I have been doing project management for about 10 - 12 years, mostly in moderate sized projects. I like it better that way. I have been a manager now for three years. When I became a manager I attended the Problem Solving Leadership class and learned a lot. As an introvert (ISFJ) it was hard for me, but I still took a lot of learning home. Now I am ready for another immersion in learning. I feel stale. Essentially I have been doing the same thing for too long. I am looking for ways I can improve how I manage projects and people so I stop making the same mistakes. :-) I am hope to take these classes: The experience of intimidation.., Advanced project management, Giving your project the best chance to succeed by starting right, How teams form. I have not quite decided about the Tuesday am and Wednesday pm slots. Still considering them. I have worked at Charles Schwab for about 6 years now (contractor then employee) and as you probably know we have been going through layoffs and cost reductions. I survived two rounds of layoffs, and I just received final approval to attend the conference, so see you in a couple of weeks! I understand your "stale" comment. Perhaps we ought to call the conference, "Renewing Your Effectiveness," though that's not quite as good an acronym. RYE might suggest... who knows what? And thanks for the insight into what you're planning to attend. It helps us get an idea of how big each session is going to be. See you soon! - JerryWeinberg
