Avanta BoF: I'm creating a Birds-of-a-Feather session in 2005 so people can learn about Avanta, the Virginia Satir Network. I joined the group last year, and attended their annual conference this summer.

I see a world of exciting possibilities for building on Jerry's work, and learning to bring Satir's ideas about how to become wholehearted humans to the whole wide world of people who work.

I learned about Avanta at AYE 2004 when I attended one of Jean McLendon's wonderful Satir Coaching sessions. The experience affected me powerfully, so after the session I asked Jean how I could work with her. She invited me to join Avanta and help her open it to a wider community.

I'm not sure where on the Wiki to begin a BoF page for this and link it to the schedule, so I'd appreciate guidance. Once we get a page that people can find, I'll offer some ideas about BoF topics or activities, and see what people are interested in. StuartScott 2.9.2006
