Hello all,

If you have visited Rob Wyatt's entry, I am the one exception that knows Rob. He and I work together solving world hunger and improving processes at Wachovia.

In my travels I have become passionate about processes, and the idea of doing things right the first time -- or at least 'better' the first time. The most important learning for me is that process improvement is really an opportuntity to study human behavior, and we are fascinating creatures.

This conference is very exciting to me. Amplifying my Effectiveness is both a personal goal and perceived necessity. It will be difficult to decide which sessions to attend -- any recommendations?

On a personal note, I will be traveling with my two daughters (7 and 5) and my mother. Any other families out there? Also, I enjoy jogging (and I stress jogging, not running) to start the day. Any interested parties?

This is the right problem to have, yes? You'll have to work real, real hard to make a bad experience for yourself. There's nearly no downside risk. The only weak suggestion I have is go for variety - as many different topics, guides, and so on as you can manage. The sessions are all "the best" but also differently good.

One suggestion - attend the Sunday tutorial, if you can. It will give you a foundation to build on. As far as the other sessions go, this is my 4th year and I still want to go to more than 1 in every time slot.

Hi Monica. Here's a couple of suggestions.
- Why not start a JoggerPage?
- Why not start a BringingKidsPage? We've had some kids every year, and they're fun.
- How about "better each time?"

Welcome to AYE. I know a couple of people who work at Wachovia in the software area. I kayak with some people in end user support and imaging. Let's compare phone books at AYE. DonGray 2003.10.07
