SessionFour016

Experiencing Architecture/Design
EstherDerby and BobKing

Program Change

This session has been replace with SessionFour029, Iterative Incremental Development. Same hosts, same time.

Describing and hearing descriptions of an architecture or a design can be frustrating. Their outcomes are less concrete and tangible than the results of analysis or coding, for example. Because of this ephemeral nature, we are not always sure that we have built a shared understanding of an architecture or design. And, this compounds the problem of getting useful feedback about the architecture or design so that we can evaluate how well it will be able to serve its purpose. In this session, we will explore methods and ideas to make an architecture or design more tangible. We will discuss the principles and guidelines of experiential learning. What better way to bring an architecture or design to life than to experience it?
