Does this remind you of the way some people approach projects? Does this remind you just a little bit of yourself at times?

Beaver Overthinking Dam

--DaveSmith 2006.04.19

I'm not sure anyone could accuse me of overthinking a project. Over-acting, yes. Over-thinking--I don't think so. But I sure did like this!-- JohannaRothman 2006.04.20
"This marks the third consecutive spring in which Messner has sought to build the perfect dam."

There's the problem right there--not so much overthinking, but having perfection as a goal. Get over it, you perfectionists. Our beavers out here in NM seem to have the knack of it--work with your mouth, and don't talk so much. And if your dam is good enough, leave it alone. If it's not, the floods will take it, so build another. - JerryWeinberg 2006.05.14

A friend of mine noted that beavers appear too serious, while otters appear as "the going with the flow" sort. I think I otter. - CharlesAdams 2006.05.15
Charles, does that mean you think you otter be an otter? - JerryWeinberg 2006.05.15
