GeordieKeitt

I am a tester, based in Northern Virginia, currently working at the Federal Communications Commission in Washington, DC. It seems I have a lot in common with MichaelBolton: a very strong JamesBach influence to our testing, getting published in STQE, and folky-poppy musical tastes.

I also just recently learned that I am an INTP.

This will be my first AYE conference. I'm especially excited because I will have with me my wife, Sarah, and 7-week-old daughter, Lucy.

  • Terribly sorry to have to break this news, but Sarah and Lucy will be staying home. We had too much travel in the last couple of weeks due to a death in the family, and we feel Lucy should stay in a familiar place for a while. She is a good traveler but not a happy one, and the pathetic look of confusion in her eyes whenever she woke up was just too much. I will, however, have a Lucy slide show available on demand via laptop. 2004.11.05

Looking forward to meeting you!

Geordie, welcome! I'm looking forward to meeting all of you. -- JohannaRothman 2004.11.02
Geordie, we especially like babies. Thanks for bringing Lucy--and Sarah, too, of course. Spouses spice up AYE, which is like a family to us. - JerryWeinberg 2004.11.02
Hi Geordie - and I hope you enjoy your first AYE. Travelling far?

Hi Phil - Not far, just Virginia. I live outside Washington DC. In fact, I'll include that in my blurb above. 2004.11.05
Unless I am confusing you with someone else, you and I have another common interest besides AYE and the occasional disappearance and reappearance of the moon: Tai Chi Chuan.

I am developing a session I will propose to the hosts of AYE 2005-- a weaving of Tai Chi Chuan/Chi Kung principles with Satir System Concepts. Participants will explore the links between body shape and internal energy and internal representations of the environment (i.e. the context and others). Simulations will be performed in stillness and in motion, as individuals and as partners. The kinaesthetic dimension of Human Architecture will be explored along with emotional and "energy" states.

Any thoughts ...
