RequestsAboutTheProgram2005if you have requests about the 2005 program, this is the place to put them. You can also email Esther; she is our program chair this year. Anyone interested in an improv theatre session (role-playing, context changes, general goofiness)? I might be able to lead one if anyone is interested. ---Michael B. I didn't know you needed to be led to be generally goofy. I thought I accomplished that all by myself. But I'm anxious to try it differently! -- MikeMelendez 2005.02.03 We're considering an offer from an English company to do a Shakespearean drama about testing. I've told them that they have to have a part for Michael, even though he's a Canadian resident. I've referred them to Esther, our program chair, and she'll let you know if they're taking us up on it. - JerryWeinberg 2005.02.07 The Tester of Venice? - DaveLiebreich 2005.02.07 and for consideration It was actually Hamlet, "To Test or not to Test." - JerryWeinberg 2005.02.08 And here I was thinking it was a love story. "What's in a name? A bug by any other name would be a fault." - FionaCharles 8-Feb-2005 Not sure this is the right place to put this, but..... Any interest in a systems thinking primer? This is a session I've run a few times now in Europe, and seems to get very good feedback - especially as most conferences are still very DeathByPowerpoint and I'm the lone experiential session! Starts with the origin of cybernetics and ends with some simple systems thinking (and a few surprises thrown in for good measure). PhilStubbington 2005.07.16 Phil, I think that would make a terrific contributed session. Send a note to EstherDerby, in case she doesn't see this. - JerryWeinberg 2005.07.16 I agree with Jerry. We have at least one session a day open for contributed sessions. If you used the Tuesday PM session, Diane and I (doing a session on archetypes) could shift to Wednesday afternoon.
