Looking forward to my second AYE conference. I signed up again because I enjoy sharing ideas with others experienced in the complexities of technical projects and interested in the people-oriented side of things. I look forward to meeting new folks and reconnecting with returning folks from AYE 2003.

Background: Eleven years in software testing, QA, and programming, mostly as a consultant/contractor, author of occasional articles, and occasional conference presenter. Have authored and managed the Softwareqatest.com web site since 1996.

Personal: Enjoy hiking, running, singing, dancing (C&W, swing, etc. - met my wife at a zydeco dance.) I live in Virginia near Washington DC

At AYE 2003 we had a BoF session for test folks:
MikeMelendez added a QualityTesting Wiki page for the Tuesday nite QA and Testing BoF session and there's some info there that may be of interest to the AYE QA and Testing folks. Modesto will also be adding some info; possibly discussions will continue over time? RickHower 2003.11.10
Rick, Many thanks for organizing the informal meeting/dinner of the 2003 AYE Conference Attendees in the Washington, Maryland, and Virginia area on Friday April 16th. It was great to be "that context" again with you, DwaynePhillips, and DaveRabinek. In reflection of our conversations I was reminded of the following: "As long as communications occurs in a shared context, fertility abounds." - Margaret Wheatley and how true it is. We should do this again - (all right, okay, all right, okay) (Inside joke on yours truly!) AndrewBove 17-APR-04
I LOVE to hear about OtherAyeGatherings, so much that I'm making a separate page to see what gets posted. Some of us in New Mexico get together pretty often. And, of course, your hosts get together by phone at least every two weeks to work on the conference. - JerryWeinberg
