AdrianSegar

I'm the guy on the right.

When I'm not fending off my son's attacks (my daughters are somewhat better behaved) I am attempting to write my first book, working title "Conferences That Work: Creating Events That People Love". This is a change from the last twenty five years, when I was solving IT problems for small and medium sized organizations and non-profits. I have also also taught computer science at Marlboro College, spent five years as co-owner of a solar manufacturing business, and briefly worked on experimental high-energy particle physics as a postdoc at Tufts, until I discovered that the job required me to be away from home for most of the year.

I have become increasingly interested in creating PeerCenteredConferences, and people are starting to pay me to facilitate them. Now, if I can only write the book...

I discovered Jerry's books a while ago, and attended the last PSL workshop in 2002. I enjoyed AYE 2003 - 2005 and am looking forward to further stretching myself by attending AYE 2006.
