IndividualConsultingSeveral people have asked whether there will be opportunities for individual and team consulting during the conference. Here's one answer. In SessId014, Novice to Maestro, Becky and Jerry will be doing consulting right up there in front of the group. So, if you're willing to have your "private" consulting in front of an audience, to demonstrate maestro consulting techniques, then you can have what you're asking about. I think Jean's sessions will also have this format. Also, there will be all sorts of opportunities for conferring with everybody there, in and out of sessions - that's the whole idea of this conference. As we say, we're putting the "confer" back in conference. Others may want to add things about their sessions, and their availability. Notice that it's not just the hosts who are expert consultants. - JerryWeinberg updated 2003.05.02 I make times for individual consulting when I'm not facilitating a session, maybe at mealtimes or in the evening. Sometimes the questions arise from a session, sometimes they're things you bring with you. Part of the value of this conference is that you have the opportunity to confer with other people who have similar issues. More working with actual issues and puzzles than just schmoozing, it seemed to me. If we are all "effective" and "effectively amplified" do we not all become coaches in some sense? Is that not one of the points of a conference organized this way, with these particular contents? How do we encourage that spontaneous peer consulting, or can we? JimBullock, 2003.05.29
