to BobKing, for a great job of rearchitecting the wiki. Thanks, Bob. - JerryWeinberg 12 March 02

I noticed the clean-up, and suggested to BobKing that a session on ArchitectingAndRefactoringWebSites would be of interest to many if not most of the consultants here. Bob suggested that we move the idea into the Wiki for discussion. Sounds good to me! BobLee 03/14/02
Both Bobs, BobKing for rearchitecting the AYE wiki. I feel it to be more inviting this way, BobLee for the ideas for the website and for an AYE session. Thanks, guys. It's extra interesting for me because in a small team we're working on a wiki somewhere else and no doubt we will need refactoring in the future. --NynkeFokma, March 14, 2002

My appreciations go to Nynke. I will never forget, that you did the suggestion to go to PSL. I did PSL and after that CS. AYE 2000 was a logical follow-up for me. AYE was for me a place to learn and to meet. Thanks so much. With love, your friend Erwin.

My appreciations go to the hosts, presenters, and attendees of the 2002 AYE Conference - I had a blast!

Me, too. I especially appreciate all those who attended, and all those who tried very hard to attend but didn't make it - including Ira and Laurent, but also those who just couldn't manage to work it out this time. Maybe next year! - JerryWeinberg 2002.11.11
I have been bouncing around this wiki for the past couple of weeks. It just hit me this morning how much I have enjoyed it and learned from the contributions of others.

I appreciate BeckyWinant and DonGray for inviting me to participate in the Aye Conference. I think there were several others involved in inviting. I don't know all their names, but I appreciate them, too.

JimBullock took the "audacious step" of editing some of the content on InformationRadiator C2-style. I appreciate Jim for doing that. -- LaurentBossavit 2003.04.10

I appreciate everybody who refactors (even corrects spelling errors) any part of this wiki. Let me take this occasion to remind everyone that every participant is entitled to refactor - it's open source. We make it good, and we make it better. Thanks, everyone. JerryWeinberg 2003.04.10
With AYE 2004 next week, I deeply appreciate the AYE organizers and presenters and their choices. Once again, every time period has at least two sessions I want to attend. MikeMelendez 2004.11.03
I appreciate Charlie Tierney for identifying and escorting 7 of us to Pizzeria Bianco. I've never had better pizza. MikeMelendez 2004.11.11
I have come to appreciate moments of perfection in life... one of those was the Satir session on Wednesday morning. When I got up that day I had no idea what awaited me. The session started in an odd way, I was my typical skeptical self, but "fate" would not be denied. "What was the worst that could happen?" By the end, the session had stirred embers at the depths of my soul and fanned them to flame. My heart sang. It was like travelling through a parched land and suddenly finding myself plunging deep into a clear, cool spring. It made me feel much more completely alive than I am used to. It was a good and perfect gift. The connection I felt with the people in the room was profound. The good-will I felt from them and the support they gave me was a joy. It gave me hope. It touched my spirit in a way I will never forget. But it was not without pain. "What do _I_ want?" I want to hear again how others felt about the session. I appreciate the people who took the "star" role in the sessions I was part of. Seeing your courage, your willingness to be vulnerable before an audience, was inspiring to me.

I appreciate the people I met at AYE this year. To a person, I was impressed and delighted to meet such cool, interesting, able, willing people.

I appreciate Jerry's desire to "restore works of art", and the effort he puts in to it in the things he does.

I appreciate the sense of belonging everyone worked hard to give me (well, maybe it wasn't hard work for them, it would've been for me). I truly felt like...was...an "insider" even in groups of people many of whom had known each other for years. Also, I second the pizza appreciation! DavidPickett 2004.11.12
"There are such astonishing things to be told about men and women, and hardly a man or a woman to whom one dares to tell them." (L.P.Smith's work, Afterthoughts) Thanks to all who threw away the dare. BobbySteffen 2004.11.12
I appreciate JerryWeinberg for writing Becoming a Technical Leader: An Organic Problem-Solving Approach in which he describes how to change a rule into a guide.

I appreciate JohannaRothman for facilitating the 2004 session of "Transforming Rules into Guides."

I appreciate MichaelBolton for his example of congruence during our conversations at AYE.

Thank you so much for everyone I met at AYE 2005. I had a fear before attending conference, because I didn't know anyone there. But AYE people are so great and nice!

And I appreciate Naomi and John for giving me sincere advices for my troubled project.
